Tru Stell’s love for pups runs in his family. From a young age, he could always be found with his family’s Frenchie. Although they lost their Frenchie when Tru was still young, his love for the dogs remained. In 2017 he started Shystee Pups Worldwide which allowed him to continue being around the dogs. As he puts it, “They just know me as the guy with the Frenchies.” Working with the dogs has only grown his love for them. He feels that there is no discriminating when it comes to the love that the dogs have to give.

Tru feels that Shystee Pups Worldwide has opened him up to new demographics. The way he describes it, “these dogs opened me up to a whole new world.” Seeing the reactions out of people always reminds him of the positive impact the dogs can truly have. These dogs make people happy, and they have the ability to provide a special emotional support to the people around them. Tru has watched several Frenchies grow with families and he has gotten to see how great they are with kids. The dogs have characters of their own so they fit right in just like a family member.

Tru’s work through Shystee Pups Worldwide has allowed him to break down the stigma around pitbulls as aggressive dogs. Spreading the joy of the dogs reminds people that they are good dogs and they have love to give. As Tru continues to make more connections with his community, he hopes to go international with Shystee Pups Worldwide. His ultimate goal is to grow the dog family.
